Barbelith
Originally incarnated from the years 2010-2015 in Baltimore MD, Barbelith exists as a sigil of awakening just as its namesake. A magical incantation of heart powered ritual, to wake up to ourselves and accept all there is, light & dark. Combining black metal with elements of atmospheric & ambient music but with a concentrated improvisational core from which to spring from.
After a 6 year hiatus Barbelith was revived by William Jarboe & Austyn Sullivan, picking up where they left off with the second third house offering ever, Inner Eternal, released on green cassette tape. This was a long distanced effort that was followed up with the first full band offering, epic 22 min 'Deathless Master'
